I'm not really sure why they look soft like that. Unless it's something in post processing ?
My camera has a similar problem. Of course I've been using the kit lens for the past 6 years, so I'm going to get a better one soon. It is like the auto focus is out of whack after taking tens of thousands of photos.

I think there might be something wrong with the camera. I just used Digital Photo Pro, added sharping, then just added a little contrast, that's it. WB should not affect sharpness, all these were shot with 3 separate lens. While not being "pro" lens, my 28mm USM 1.8 was a little over $600.

HAHA. I'm always looking for the unique and unusual shots from ERTC. I'm glad Jody wasn't there now to get a shot of me crouched down on the ground with my camera taking the shot. I looked pretty contorted getting this one.

Thanks, I did learn a lot about the AF doing the test, it's nice that my camera registers the lens, & lets me correct each one individually.

If you had gotten a Nikon..you wouldn't be dealing with any of that crap. I've never had issues with focusing and sharpness in my images.

Sorry, just had to do it.

I got some good shots on Saturday, but haven't found time to go through them and get them posted.
I had to get this one done for Simon.
