Yes it is and EVOMS had to keep repair the GT that Tanner was driving

 

This particular car has seen it's share of shakedowns, for sure! It even has Walter Rohrl's signature on the dash.

 

Now those were awesome cars to see and get to sit in today! What an event and turnout - can't wait to see everyone's pictures! Had a wonderful time visiting with everyone today. Hope you had fun on the bakery drive, wish I could have joined you.

It was our first big E@RTC drive since last year when we had the police escort. We just can't manage the big drives without either very short destinations or radios. Today was kind of a mess getting everyone to Black Diamond Bakery. We may have to break it into two groups, those with radios and those without who just want to try their luck finding the route. It's just too hard to manage that many cars without them. Paul's suggestion- Do the driver's meetings in our cars via radios. That way I don't have to yell and we can clarify what we're doing as we go. Even the best radios don't transmit very far with obstacles so without everyone able to pass messages back we're in the situation we were today when we had no idea we weren't all together until we were more than half way there.

BTW, we did get to see the Apollo really fly on the way home. It's seriously fast!

 

Though briefly it was great seeing you guys and the cars out there today.

my friend April had a blast. She was so excited to sit in the lambos, it was funny! thanks for making her and her dad feel welcome and thanks to roy and tommy and mike and the other people who let her sit in their cars, she was like a kid in a candy shop!! haha
