WA Tax Credit

Does anyone know how/if this trade tax credit works if you are buying a car out of state? Does it not apply in that case?

Posting the question in a few other places too.

Also applies in out of state purchases.

You bring your bill of sale to the department of licensing. On the form will be your trade in and your purchase price. You are taxed on the difference.
