What a great time. It was great to meet all of you and this surely was an epic meet. I hope we do another one soon.

 

i had a lot of fun even though we kept getting kicked out of everywhere...the west side highway was a blast!!! even though i drive the same route every weekday of my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I got there at 10:52 and everyone was gone. There were a few random turbos and a viper driving around so i followed them but they were late too i guess.

Pretty disappointed I missed it. I drove like a madman to get there before 11:00.

and Jack, yeah I saw pictures of your car. i was suppose to roll down with Alan and his PE650 car but we were both late lol

- Jason - I know dude....this is getting ridiculous brother. I'm going to try to attend another one fo the NY/NJ Tri State meets in the future so we can catch up then. Worst case, let me know if you are ever in the Washington DC area (even Baltimore).

To those who missed the event, or complained about the organization.....

If you look at the first post, it clearly states that everyone should meet at Edgewater commons at 9:30pm .....and that we would be leaving at 11:00pm

I can understand being late, but thats on you guys, not the organizers. This was an amazing event, and everyone that actually read the post and showed up on time, had a blast.


Next time just pay closer attention, and you won't miss out

 

This was such an awesome time.... such sick cars... I'd love to do it again, soon. This time maybe we can hook up with a charity and get a little money from all those that attend? From the looks of the crowd that showed up for this meet theres more than a few of you who could spare $20 for charity. This will put us on a different level with police/places we stop (they have to be notified ahead of time)..

Hey Guys, I'm working on a similar event as well, changing the venue as well for those interested from NY/NJ/CT/PA to drive down to the DC/MD/VA area to do a charity GTG and Capital Beltway cruise for the wounded warriors or another charitable organization. These things obviously take time to coordinate, so STAY TUNED!!!!!

 

Berk. Let me know about this or if you need help. We raise money local charities through our performance shop (Function:Tuned) here quite often (we try once a month). We're actually doing a Bikini car wash for the children's hospital this month. We've done shoe runs for the injured soldiers, toys for tots (yearly), etc.
