The meet at Captree ends when they start charging a toll then the crowd shifts to Oak Beach cause its free. Captree is great because it has the coffee shop and restrooms and the lot is enormous. If we could ever work out a deal with the State for a reduced admission on Sunday mornings at Captree I'm sure everyone would pay it and stay. Its the $8 or $9 they charge that drive everyone to OBI and require State Police, illegal parking and problems with the residents of the area. Your choice of the Airport Plaza parking lot is a good one for all the reasons you chose it except for it not being at the beach which is a great destination on a warm sring/summer/fall morning. Your time frame is also a little late. I realize you chose it so as not to conflict with the beach group but thats a big part of why the beach group is so popular. You can go and hang out with all your friends for a couple hours and be home before your wifes even dressed. They generally don't complain if you're not screwing up the plans they've made for you. There really is no better place than Captree that I can think of. Is this new C & C group part of the official Cars & Coffee group from California and now a few other areas in the country or are you just using the same name? Went to C & C when I was in LA in December and it was really something. Their cars weren't much better than what we have had here the last few weeks at Captree but the food service they've got going is unreal. I'm up for wherever the crowd goes on Sundays but the allure of the beach and the early hours of the meet there are what is most attractive to me.

 

today at captree i saw a scuderia and a zr1. awsome cars
and i was there with the vca and there was a murci with us. very cool
