I'm tentatively looking to host an event like this in Florida in the future. I'd love to hear your input and advice regarding the set up process for this event.

Bump and good luck! Start a website for the publicity and results. Surely someone can bring timing lights?

Alright guys..
Well it looks like it might be difficult to get these people to cooperate... I've spoken to people at Farmingdale Republic Airport and they will accept us with open arms!
They asked me "What do you want? We can give you the runway or the parking lot, or both!"
Only thing they ask for is for us to have insurance. I know the Porsche Club that runs at the Coliseum has an umbrella insurance policy so if we can get them to come we'd all be covered.
Prices are not cheap as expected... will run us between $2500 and $3000 for about 6 hours of runway time.
