Long Island Vinyard run
Do you happen to have Sargepug's e-mail address, I want to ask him a few questions about this run, looks like a great lineup of vinyards. If so, please pm it to me.
Understood, thanks.
I spoke to Sargepug and he has designated me as his voice in this run!
He also has given many thanks to RVHPNO80,who has been very instrumental keeping this afloat since Sargepug was banned forever from this board.
The run has been cancelled for tomorrow, due to the Nor Easter damage on the Island. He has spoken directly to people based out there in the Hamptons. Their are many downed trees, flooded roads, dirty roads, etc, etc. Good for a Jeep run, but not a 911 run.
He will choose the better weather forecasted day on Friday. Who is available for either next sat or sun?
However their is a possibility to run tomorrow in Westchester, weather permitting. We can run up to Bear mountain and their is even a vineyard in North Salem, so we can get a little taste of goodness.
Who would be in on the run for tomorrow?
PS to the administrators. Sargepug wanted me to also relay that he apologizes for breaking the rules and that he was under the influence when he wrote the response that contained some racism and would appreciate a warning ban than rather a ban for life. He could understand if he broke the rules twice, but once and a ban for life seems extreme and unfair.

Hi Ron,
Sargepug said that if it is not raining. That we should all meet at the A & P off route 100 in Millwood, round 1:30. From there it will be plenty of time to rip up to bear and have some wine in North Salem. Lets converse in the Am, weather wise.

cool....
Actually the earlier the better, would say @ 12:30. Nothing too big or long, cause the side roads are still pretty wet, it would be more of a highway run, like up to Bear. Ron, I am going to text you now on your cell. North Salem VIneyard is closed, so no wine tasting today.

Met a great guy today, RVHPNO80. He is also one of NYC's finest, so hats off to that. We ripped a nice run upstate @ Bear. Where are those pics???
Now to get the LI run started again, who is available for next weekend? I know Ron is in!

So far Saturday is the best day weather wise, which will govern when we run. Too early yet, and it will be best to nail the run down on Friday. In the interim, everybody that is in reply to the thread.
Nice pics Ron!
