Porsche club of New York runs an autocross in the Tobay parking lot big turn out around 80 cars.30 were none Porsche.We are running again next Sunday race starts at 10 goes to around 3.If you want to race be there before 8.

Was doing an all day car engine recording session on Saturday so unfortunately overslept, was planning to get up at 6 for this.

I'm surprised how many people don't know about this event. My friend (in the passenger seat) started calling her friends who are all asking about the next time this will happen. One of them has a R8.

As for me, I was shocked by the large crowd that turned up, next time I gotta properly clean the car before I head out, it was a bit embarrassing how dirty my car was.

If the weather is nice, there'll be gatherings every Sunday until Memorial Day when things move over to OBI (Oak Beach) because there'll be a fee to get into the lot for the summer.

After Labor Day, it moves back to the Captree lot.

Yesterday was special because it was the first warm/nice day of the year so it was extra packed.

Thanks for the info Pete. I think I'll try to get out there at least once a month. Now I have to go get myself a tripod. (forgot my lens hood this past weekend, my first few pics were overexposed)

My friends have been asking me repeatedly since the last time I went out there about when it'll happen again. Hope we get a big turn out.
