Does anyone know how this works ?

If I were to buy a vehicle part directly from a European manufacturer will I be responsible for any taxes, tariffs or duties on this end ?

If so how is it calculated so i know what I'm getting into ?

yes.

You can have the parts shipped in and you will receive a bill for that a few weeks later based on the invoice value the shipper puts on the shipment. If it's marked "gift" you may not get a bill depending on if your shipment gets audited. I used to buy parts all the time from the UK but I don't remember the %, I just paid it when it came in. You can probably google it.

I can't seem to find what it would be. Even made calls to some government agencies and no one seems to be able to guide me.

It is a large, heavy piece so I doubt it can be labeled gift.

Do you have any idea of the approx.% 5,10,20 50 ???
