hey everyone, a member of mazdaspeedforums checking it. doesn't seem like there has been much activity on this thread since the date has been set. its only a few days away, is this sill happening?

Ok so here's the deal, the last time we did the run a lot of people got left behind because we had to do a lot of **** before getting to the highway (go through lights, u-turns, etc)
I have chosen a start spot that is MUCH more convenient then the one we have met at for the last 3 times.

NEW START-

1 Springfield Ave
Summit, NJ 07901-4055

This is a medical building with a decent sized parking lot. We only need to go through ONE light, and its a one way side street, so I will stop the traffic and let EVERYONE get through so we don't get broken up at the start, after the light is an acceleration ramp onto 24. Once on 24 its about .2 of a mile, and we get on 78. We will be staying LOCAL on 78 East. There is an exit right before 78 EAST which is 78 WEST, which you should NOT take. 78 EAST LOCAL is what we will be taking. After that we follow the NJ Turnpike NORTH to the Lincoln Tunnel.

Final Destination- TBA.

MEET TIME- Saturday July 2nd...10:30PM, leave by 11:00pm

PS- I need a ride from someone LOL, i don't have a car to drive on the run and Gavin isn't going, so if someone would be kind enough to let me ride with them (I take video) and drop me off at the start spot after the run, I would be very appreciative.

 

sounds good to me, ill have my camera mounted to my head rest but only have 45 min of available footage in 720. ill hit record when i remember too and if you or anyone wants some of my footage afterwards to throw in a video just pm me.

edit: and i know im new here and you dont know me but if no one else has room to ride you can hop in with me
