Folks,

Thanks to the efforts of Officer Scott Herchick of the Chatham Township Police Department, we have a new location for this weekend's Cars and Croissants meet:

The Chatham High School Parking Lot
255 Lafayette Avenue
Chatham, NJ 07928

This location returns us to Chatham but without some of the perks of the Shunpike mall: there are no bakeries or restroom facilities nearby! For those bringing your own baked goods and drinks, please make sure you carry out any trash as we don't want to leave it all over the parking lot.

This location is also much more suburban so we would like to request everyone to be on their best behavior (no revving, no burnouts, no loud music, etc.). We would like to be the best guests who come and go without a trace!

Until we find a permanent location or set of locations, we will let the group know about the locations as far in advance as possible via Yahoo groups.

Please let your friends in the various forums know about the location for this weekend. We don't want to leave stragglers all over North NJ!

Folks,

Due to the anticipated large turnout for Saturday's event, the somewhat smaller
size of the previously announced Bernardsville location, and the unexpected
availability of the Hilton Parsippany, we are changing the location to:

Hilton Parsippany
1 Hilton Court
Parsippany, NJ

Time: 8:30 am to 11 am

We are using the same lot we did a month ago which is at the back of the hotel.
The Hilton will block off both sides of the parking lot at the back of the hotel
for us, so if you arrive and see barricades, those are for us!

As before, we have access to the hotel facilities, including food for purchase
and bathrooms (hooray!). Please use the back entrance of the Hilton. Note that
there is a Hampton Inn also on the side of the Hilton, which is NOT available to
us (nor is the Hampton Inn free breakfast for their guests -- some of our
members got a little confused last time. :-))

Please no revving your engines and no peeling out of the parking lot -- lets be
good guests -- the Hilton is graciously allowing us the use of their facilities
for no cost.

Sorry for the late change but this will better accommodate the large turnout
expected. Please let your friends know who may not get this email.
