Buying another car across the country and wanted to see what you locals would recommend.

Private party seller is located in east Hampton and stated closest p dealer is porsche of south hampton. I plan on having them do the PPI but would also like a second opinion on the physical condition. Had a few bad experiences with PPIs not catching repaint/physical flaws in the past.

Figured my options are to find a decent body shop to do the physical inspection or a good auto Detailer.

Any suggestions referral would be much appreciated.

FWIW My previous car was a Porsche Southampton NY car (maintained) and you would not believe the problems they missed...... indeed my experiences previously in the Hamptons were universally terrible with dealers/maintainers.
