Safety Regulations... they don't pass our tests yet they don't change. It costs a lot to change over and small manufacturers like them can't afford it for the few buyers who might ****** up their cars. It sucks, I know, but the US cars are safer which is good because lets face it, there are Paris Hiltons and Britney Spears born everyday and the roads are only going to get more dangerous...over here at least...

I had heard TVR went out of business about a year ago and the factory had been shut down. Are they still in business?

I had also heard that TVR resisted putting any airbags or other safety features in their cars because the logic for them was, if you don't want to die in an accident, don't crash.

I think the new Russian owner shut down the factory to build another one.
