Defenders?

I'm thinking of a (preferably) 1997 Defender. Outside of cars.com, autotrader.com, etc...any recommendations on finding one within driving distance to upstate NY?

The Defender may be my favorite older car on the road.. but maybe you should also consider the two door g-wagon convertible? You can get one for much cheaper than a defender and will probably have a much easier time keeping up on maintenance.

Either way, great dilemna!
