I was passing through Flagstaff, AZ from Scottsdale to refuel. I passed by a Courtyard (Marriott) and saw two Range Rovers, all wrapped and covered up. Anyway, I took a couple of photos, nothing really different from the current models, really just different wheels. There was one HSE and one Supercharged (larger rims). There was sensory equitment on both Rovers. Perhaps off road or weather testing? I just thought it was a cool sighting. Enjoy!

Hot weather testing I assume, if you look at the vents at the rear I would almost think these are the electric or hybrid Range Rovers said to be in development.

 

I sent the photos to CAR Magazine and the editor said it is possibly the new Rover due in 2012. Because I actually saw them testing on the road and there are differences in the exterior, mainly in the rear (vents, bumper, etc). The headlights got me thinking as well. But it was really cool to see them. I saw them 2 times on the road testing. Very cool.
