Rossion Q1 Reliability Questions. Please Help.
Rossion Q1 Reliability Questions. Please Help.
All -
I'm new to the British sub-forum area, but recently have fell in love with what I've read/heard about the Rossion Q1, so its prompted me to do some research into these cars.
I'm planning to make a purchase to acquire either a 997.1 GT3 or Q1, and from everything I've read about both cars, the Q1 takes the cake in all categories. However, what concerns me is the lack of information regarding its reliability.
I've been on the Rossion/Noble boards to try and acquire info, but can't seem to find information about reliabilty issues, however, I've talked with numerous people who have told me that the cars are unreliable, but the extent of their "unreliability" is dependent on who the car was assembled/built by; so can you guys point me in the right direction.
1. Can any of the members here that own a Q1 please give me a first hand account of the reliability issues with this car?
2. What do I need to watch out for when purchasing these cars? (In terms of who assemlbed/built the car)
3. Are there any reputable shops/tuners I can speak to, in order to gain a better idea of what I'm getting myself into?
Your input is much appreciated. I look forward to hearing/reading your responses.

I believe the Rossion cars are completed from Rossion in Florida. The build variability was more prevalent on Noble cars which could be purchased as kits and assembled at various places.
I have driven a Q1 and found it to be awesome fun!

I own a Noble M12 GTO 3r and can tell you that the car is basically bullet proof IF you take care of the things that need to be addressed. The Rossion is the exact same way from what I can tell.
Being British, my Noble suffered from poor quality hoses and some wiring issues. I believe the folks at Rossion have addressed these issues and are doing a much better job. Most of the problems I have heard about have to do with people who are either drag racing the car or doing crazy things with it that it was never intended to do.
The car is incredible and cannot be beaten for the price. It all depends on what kind of car you are looking for, but don't be shy about owning one. They are easy to work on and a blast to own!
Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions..
