Sweet Mother of God, a Range Rover Just Conquered the Nürburgring
Sweet mother of god, a Range Rover just conquered the Nürburgring with a time of 8:14…. Just let that sink in for a second. A three ton SUV just conquered the Nürburgring. The Green Hell. A place where Niki Lauda almost lost his life. Where countless others have lost their lives.
Where cars, like the new NSX, go to die. It’s a killer. And a SUV just kicked its glorious deadly butt! The new Range Rover is a wonderful thing.

Porsche Cayenne Turbo beat this time over 2 years ago..
ref: http://www.drive.com.au/motor-news/p...625-20x25.html
In Porsche testing at the Nurburgring, the Cayenne Turbo lapped in 8 mins 17 sec, while a GTS recorded 8 min 27 secs, both cars employing air suspension and roll-controlling suspension system known as PDCC. The Turbo’s pace advantage was primarily attributed to a higher top speed.
The Cayenne S, which the GTS is based on, recorded a best time of 8 minutes 37 seconds, while a Turbo running on air suspension but without the active stability management system (PASM) with adjustable dampers was fastest of all at 8 minutes 13 seconds.
