I have the 2019 version, I think there is no doubt the new is better on the confort side, and looks better inside. The main problem is that delivery time are long or even unknown, particularly for the V8 (seems like BMW is not making enough of its 4.4L). Unfortunately I could not test the active sound reducer system, but it seems already more silent.
