8C Competizione in the dealer today.
There is one of these available at Maserati of Minneapolis right now, but they want $329K for it. It's a hell of a car, and probably the most gorgeous thing ever placed on 4 wheels, but that's simply an absurd amount of money.
For 329, you can have a 4k mile silver cgt, a 7k mile black cgt or a new scud. Which would you choose?
Exactly. For that kind of money, there are plenty of other options out there. Another example of what can be had for $300K and change is a SL65 AMG Black Series.
Gorgeous Car but...Jamie, I agree
. I have driven and ridden 500 miles+ in a CGT.Porsche (CGT), there is no substitute
+1 even though the car is unique if i was spending that much I would go for one of those options
Its all about in the exclusivity,if Alfa-Romeo's were common in the states like lux autos ie Audi etc,the 8C would be about the priced closer to a Aston Martin Vantage (or similiar class car). Like Gungriffin said "This car is all about collectability".
Alfa was going to ship 100+ 8C's to the US to introduce the brand, but when the economy began to crumble, they cut the shipment down to approx. 50 cars. Maybe even less. It's a VERY exclusive car!
