I like it. I am thinking of trading my 05 for one. I prefer the classic look of the 05 but the new one is a better car apparently...

I wasn't really feeling this new design at first. But a friend is looking to buy one and we went to the dealer to check it out. In person, this car looks pretty good inside and out.

Did Chris Bangle design the new Impreza, looks very Ugly WANNABE version of Mazda3 Speed and the 4Door is even UGLY (looks like a KIA but UGLIER),seriously the new Impreza line looks like tissue compare the much EVILER better performing EVO. Just SAD since the last Impreza was actually nice looking. The new interior okay but i still like the older one.

It really does look much better in person. I saw my first one on the road yesterday and it looked much more aggressive than in photos. It will be interesting to see how sales go and whether they end up changing back to sedan.

Saw one last week and got a chance to drive it..all I can say is wow! it actually looks a lot better in person. The car handles like it's on rails. The price is a different story..$40k was the asking price(fully loaded with no mark up). Oh she was white with gold wheels.

Hi,

White with the bronze STi wheels is the only way I would have it. Glad you enjoyed the drive mate.

Cheers,
Nik

echo-ing what everyone else has said, the car looks much better in person. especially in white. the tail lights are a toss up, but i'm sure there will be an all red aftermarket conversion to solve that.

It looks great in person! The dealer by me has them for $3K off sticker.
One without NAV/BBS for $32,995. One with BBS/NAV for little over $36K.

Those are great prices. I just helped a friend get an '08 with NAV/BBS for a bit over 37k which was the best deal we could find anywhere in the country a few weeks ago. If we knew we could get one for $36k in Chicago it would have been a much easier buying experience(because of distance from us in MN). BTW, what color is the one in Chicago? He wanted Black so that may have been an/the issue.

And yes, much better in person. The car is so feature packed it is a heck of a deal.
