Detailed under the hood recently.

 

^^^^ That looks soo clean! Did you finish it off with CD2? That is the first thing I am going to do when I get it home. I read a lot about detailing on the s2ki forums but I would really like to know exactly how you did it. It looks so clean without looking greasy...

 

I used diluted Simple Green in a spray bottle and various brushes mostly. I hadn't yet sprayed protectant in that picture, but I used 303 spray. I sprayed it on, let it sit for a few minutes and wiped off excess. That's all really. It's already getting dirty in there again because I got stuck driving in the rain a few times.

 

Well it looks really good. Any plans on changing out the stock intake?

 

Only for a K&N possibly. Nothing is going to add any real power so I tend to keep it stock under the hood. I'll probably upgrade the exhaust simply for the sound and the wheels/tires once I wear out the Bridgestones on there now.

 

You guys are really making me miss my S2000.

 

That is exactly my plan. Drop in K & N and new stance eventually.

 

Y2KS2K. What exhaust are you looking to get. I like the ones that keep the stock look, like the borla and spoon. It's tough to see any performance increase without a test pipe unfortunately.

 

I like the Fujitsubo, Toda and T1R

MadSpeed, What exhaust setup do you have on your car?

 

I bought my hardtop from Apostolakis Honda in Ohio. He is Hardtopguy's brother and has WAY better deals.
