Trying to play mad scientist by adding prodigious amounts of hp to a car not built for said power increase......a story I have heard all too often!

Since when did the S2K turn into a drag car? Isn't this a track platform, not a 600 hp exotic killer?

It still holds the road just fine

and I am not 100% sure it's the headgasket I am going to do a leakdown/compression test this week, but I highly doubt it's just a very large Air bubble.

Also the Motor can handle way more than just 580 HP, if it is the Headgasket, yes I am disappointed it didnt last very long, however I did beat the **** out of it, ya know being it's a 600HP "Exotic killer"

It's still a honda.............I don't care how fast it is!

Be that as it may, I hope it's nothing major and that you get her back on the streets wreaking havoc across america!

Just drove around in my buddie's 2006 S2000. Definitely a fun car. Shifts great, seats are awesome. Only convertible I'd own.

However, yours must be insane!!

lol, well I just fully bled the system and beat the **** out of the car and it didnt see anything above 185F an it's 100F outside, so looks it may have been a huge air pocket, not the headgasket

So Bananas, back on the road yet? I have a 2007 AP2 that I have thought about boosting hp. Your story is not new to me, but they sure are fun while they last. Get that sucker fixed and back out there.
