diastole is infamous around these parts
New Owner and new to forum

Hi guys,
I just purchased a 2010 Panamera TT basalt black on black with CF and sports chrono and ceramic brakes.

What a rocket!
I used to have a Ferrari 550 and traded that against the Porsche...what an amazing contrast between the two cars, the two styles, the two eras really.

Quick question if you don't mind....

The PDK seems a little "jerky" and quick to run up through the gears if driving gently.
It seems that by 30mph or thereabouts I'm already in 5th gear. This is in non-sport mode.

Do you guys have that same "jerkiness" or should I ask the dealer to erase the PDK memory. I go the car with 200 miles on it and I wonder if a bunch of different test drives didn't mess with the computer programming.

Thanks.

I'll take some pix at some point and upload.

Rob

Congrats on your new car. I know it is beautiful since it is identical to mine (except for the brakes). The PDK in my car is a little quirky. It's smoothest shifts are under full throttle and many under normal driving conditions can be some what abrupt or jerky. I am guesing this is the nature of a dual clutch system. You are going to love your car. I have had mine for two months and I like it better and better the more I drive it.

Congrats. Nice choice. Welcome to 6speed and to the Panamera family. The PDK is a bit jerky and it is normal. Nothing to really worry about.
