gofit is infamous around these parts
I am in the servotronic camp that thinks it makes the steering too light. I have a 2010 4s (with servotronic) and it took me several months to get used to the light feel. I traded a C4S 997 for this one and the steering on the 997 was perfect...imho...not sure why the pano needed to be such a dramatic difference in feel. That being said I don't think you can find a 2012 pano anywere that dosen't have the option...so it would be very hard to do a comparsion drive.

As it turns out champion Porsche in south Floridas test drive mule happens to be a car not equipped w/servotronic. Salesman said all his cars are equipped with servo besides his muel

IMO the servo ruins the car in moderate drive situations
If ever able to drive back to back I suggest to anyone to drive 1 before chiming in an opinion

A test drive has nothing to do with real life. You need to get used to new things. Different is not necessarily a bad thing. Did you really test sport, sport +, and normal modes in both?

After driving the non servotronic car for 16 months, final thoughts. Me-loved the harder steering effort at low speed. Wife-hated it and after 16 months we just sold the car (since it was her daily driver). Between this and poor visibility, my wife had enough of it.

For maneuvering in parking lots/parallel parking etc, servotronic is helpful I must say.

I got my PTT back in November and it has servotronic. I've been driving a P4 loaner for the past two days while my car is being serviced. The P4 does not have servo and I do not like it at all. The steering always feels very heavy, even at speed. In parking lot manuevers, the steering gets to a point when turning sharp and feels like it wants to go to full lock by itself. Take a long test drive or ask for a used one over a weekend if you can before you make your own decision. Personally I would not buy without it.

Sport Auto liked it. Lightning sharp turns with high comfort.
