Great deal on a beautiful car! That color is gorgeous on the Pan. Congrats. Oh, is the consensus that the laser jammer works well? Aren't there a lot of variables? What is the premier brand?

Ive had numerous saves with the Laser Interceptor. It really works Look up Guys of Lidar. These guys tested various units and the best on the market is Laser Interceptor. I have it both on my wifes Mercedes and will be installed on my Porsche Wed. Use it in conjuction with Valentine One. Tons of info here

If you owna Porsche and live in a state where it is legal in my opinion it is a must. Got Delivery of my car today.

Clearbra is a waste of time and money. You can respray a front end, as needed for same money and looks better.

V1 should be hardwired into the fuse box on the drivers side. Leave enough extra cord so it can mount on either side of the rear view mirror. Dealer will charge ~1 hour labor to install wiring. Generally they will expect the owner to supply the installation kit, available from V1 online (includes proper size fuse and installation instructions. Your dealer will have done this installation many times!!

Spoiler can be controlled manually from the center console, never done it. Don't know the details.

Cheers, JohnnyB
Clearbra with installation = $600
Complete respray on bumper, hood, fenders, and mirrors = $3600

How are those equal again?

Opinions Again

I had my GT3 front fender painted for $650. Easily removed and replaced. Never had any problems with chips on the mirrors, hood, fenders. Majority of rock debris hits the vertical areas of your front bumper.

This is certainly a judgment call. I have chosen to simply drive my Porsches and take the minor blemishes as a product of someone enjoying their car.

Cheers either way, JohnnyB

The spoiler actually has four positions

-down
-manual deploy at speeds under ~53mph (basically flat)
-auto/manual at speeds between 53 and 123 (15 degrees)
-auto/manual at speeds over 123 (30 degrees)

These specs are off the top of my head and are likely not precise.

The Tint Shop has had my car for 3 days now. They say they are artists and not to rush them. They are doing the whole hood, full bumper, full front quater panels all Seam to Seam. Also doing rocker panels, 9 inches of the roof behind windshield and rear bumper and also the lens and fog lights. Also doing the door edges. Also, getting the windows tinted with 20% rear window and sides at 35%.

Tomorrow the car goes to the Stereo shop for LI (Laser Interceptor) V1 Radar installation. Will take pictures after everything done and post for all to see. Thanks

I'd do a complete clear wrap for the car instead of just the front.
