Upgraded Intake

I wanted to get your thoughts on upgrading the intake. I'm putting on a new exhaust on after the new year and am thinking of upgrading the intake as well. I've always heard mixed results on the cone air intakes. Had them in the past and they never caused me any problems, but wanted to hear your results. Upgrade to a cone "quick flow" system or keep the box drop ins?

Cold air intake systems are fine so long as you keep them oil free, it's the MAF sensor that tends to fail when the oil from the filter latches itself to this sensor...

Yeah, I've heard varring things... Debating wither it's worth the risk. As i've also read no oil is as bad as no filter?

Funny theory since our cabin filters are dry including carbon....
