Price Check - Pana 6 cyl
I have a 997.1 TT, so getting a Pana TT is not as important as it might be to others on this board. So, I am willing to give up power for this four door car that I will be putting a lot of highway miles on. What kind of discount should I expect on an $80-$85k 2011 Panamera 6 cylinder, now that the new year has clicked over? I'm not just asking for the heck of it. I am ready to go and purchase one. Thanks, Doug

i just put my deposit down on a build date of feb for march delivery. i ordered with options to give around a $84K msrp. my purchase price for this car is $80K. my dealer is acting like i got as good a deal on it as they would ever get. its 4.7% off the msrp. not sure if this deal is awesome, but i think it is solid.
for the record, its my first porsche, and i cant wait to get it. will the dealer think its strange if i go test drive a few more times before it comes even though they already have my deposit? :D |

Thanks for the info. There should be enough of these models out ther that dealers will be fairly competitive.

Window price on mine was right around 89K. With a little haggling was able to get the price down a little over 10K. I was lucky as they had on the lot the color / feature combo that I was wanting. I'm sure if I ordered it I wouldn't have gotten such a good deal. Good luck! It's a great car, and as a daily driver w/ a TT in the driveway the v6 will be perfect.

Mine is an S which I custom ordered - a little over 8% off sticker.
If you start stacking up options, you can get more % off. I think the US, there is more inventory so more room to play with as well. the V6 is more than plenty on the highway, the Panamera is such a giant BOAT, that having the TT -- I still can't see myself zipping around in it, its not as agile or nimble as a 3 series or a small car; its a giant boat, and is at its best on the highway. the V6 is all you need! |

Got 8% off MSRP on an ordered 4S delivered back in April. You can do better. Good luck

There is roughly 13% in the MSRP. There is plenty of room for negotiations. Don't settle for anything less than 8-10% off.

What do I do when the dealers in my area say they can't do that? Tell them guys in this forum claim to get 8% off? Is the 8% off on a custom 6 cylinder 2011?

That is excellent intel. Thanks -- I will put it to good use next week when I visit my local dealer!
