Help!

I have a panamera 4s and I need tires after 8000 miles and I am pissed! I have those crap Pirelli tires! Any advice on what to buy next? They don't have to last 30,000 miles but 8000 is ridiculous. I am an average driver and I don't try to win the Daytona 500 when I drive. Tell me about you experience or suggestions!

C-man, I can tell you from first hand experience your only gonna get 10-15 out of whatever Porsche approved tires are on the list. I'd say the average is 12k on the rear. If you go with non-Porsche approved tires, I would highly suggest not getting directional tires. My clients have allways gone back with Porsche approved on there Panamera so I cannot tell you what other brand/style is getting better milage. The treadwear rating is in the area of 280, so be on the lookout for tires that are performance tires with a higher treadwear rating. Also, is the wear on your tires uniform, or are there any indications of misalighnment? I feel for you as the cost of ownership of this car with tires alone is very high. I hope you enjoy the car, they have done a great job with it.

I've burned thru a set already but it's my DD so it is what it is. They lasted 10k miles. Considering Michelin's in the spring when I take off the snow tires.

Try to get take off tires from forum members and or ebay. The funny part is that you will probably get a full set of 19" rims and tires for the price of new tires...crazy, I know...I have 20" Michelins on my Turbo II rims and so far they have been driven around 5.4K miles and honestly I am impressed with their treadwear....go for Michelins, they are pricey but you wont regret it, you should get at least 15-18K from a set of Michelins..pirellis are really crap!
