My new 4S was placed on a boat in Germany last week. Anyone know specifics about transport? How long before the boat leaves? Transit time to the US? Dealer "prep" time, etc.? Antsy about the car's arrival.....

 

I just ordered my car last weekend. I was told the scheduled completion date is April 16, and that it should arrive at the dealership (NY area) about a month after that (mid-May). I don't imagine prep time requires more than a day after it arrives at the dealer. Although I'll have mine clear-bra'd and probably a built-in radar installed before I take delivery.

Guessing my car and yours are on the same boat. Mine shipped last week as well. My dealer told me that it would hit the port in Maryland this Friday and I should be able to take delivery the following Friday.
