Reduced Engine Power

I was driving my 2011 P4S with less than 2000 miles on the car in stop-and-go traffic with the auto-shut off system on and the car gave me a Reduced Engine Power Warning. I made it to work and restarted the car with the fault gone. Dealer said that the fault code would not be stored. Anyone else have this issue?

I had that exact warning when my fuel pump failed. The fault code should be stored - I would have them plug it in and see if anything shows up.

The fault codes are stored; call the service tech, not the salesman...

And then kick the salesman in the nuts! I only know one that has a clue. Haha!
