Anyone had issues with an occasional ipod skipping while playback?
I would say max twice in a 1 hr drive. I have tried different cables, different ipods and in fact different cars. between 6 different ipods and random cables and 3 2011 cars...(P4 and 2x Cayennes) they all seem to skip once in while. Not the biggest issue, but just seeing if anyone else had any issues?

 

Yes...I have issues with Ipod audio stutter or skip quite often, but it is usually after braking to a stop.. I think I also have this with CD.

I also have experienced issues with Sat XM connection being dropped, but don't know that it is the same issue

I have issues with Sat XM too. Very random and not issues with trees or overpasses. Was going to mention it next time in for service

 

My car is in the shop today, and I told them I have been experiencing intermittant skipping on IPod. It is intermittant but it always takes place just when I have braked to a stop.

I figure that it is some odd glitch with the PCM under hard braking, but I am just guessing, I have tried two iPods and my iphone and the problem occurs with all of them.

The dealer tells me that they cannot duplicate the problem, and they have no other bulletins or record of others with this problem. I apparently have the latest software too, so there is nothing to do.. Frustrating.

Has anybody else found a solution to this problem?

 

I too notice the same problem in my 2011 cayenne. How long does the skip last? < 1 sec?
