40. Wanted 997 gts but wife vetoed due to having 3yr old and 1yr old. Ptt provides fantastic performane w plenty of space for the kids and bags/shopping. A very agreeable compromise for the sake of our marriage ;-)

51 - PTT - DD - 2 kids - needed room for kids hockey and baseball gear, did not want to drive an SUV daily. Great DD with room for 4 and some stuff!

46...

Wanted the 991.... seats only two (back seats are crap)

Was looking at 650i Coupe... low headroom in the back...

Looked at the 650i Gran Coupe... Nice! Almost bought it!

Wife said it's 'only' a BMW.... how 'bout the Porsche 4 door? Said I wasn't a fan of the Panamera...

Went to check it out... now I have a deposit slip...

I'm 41. I purchased it because it has four door and I have a 5 year old that I drive to school most days -- so it's a daily driver. It's a PTT and the license plate frame reads "Sydney's School bus". If I were single with no kids, I would have the 911 turbo, but being a dad, husband, and car nut ... it's the perfect compromise.

For weekend fun, I load my motorcycle in my pickup truck and hit the track either racing or doing trackdays.

Perfect.

Pics, or it didn't happen.

My wife also likes the thought of Panamera for a DD, we both can't get past the cost of options of the current Porsches. Looking for used (to avoid this).

Like the setup! (Finally heading out to the track - Road America) next month.

Reminds me of that time-tested racer quote:

"You know how to make a small fortune in racing?"

... "...Start with a large one"

I am 56 and the of a kind 997S in my garage was my 39th (and was supposed to be my last) Porsche. Number 40 a CPO'd 2010 4S, sticker was 121,500, it is petty loaded and is the car on AWE's website I think the first local car that has their exhaust.
