PTT first time soon to be owner, few questions
Coming from a 997TT, I have some questions that I hope you guys can clarify, as I'm about to pickup the beast.
1 - DME report if anything like that is a MUST for a 9K car. What should I be looking other than service records.
2 - 19" wheels (I know, I know at least it had ALL the other options I was REALLY looking for), performance wise, am I better off with 20", 21", 22" this is not from the looks, but from the performance point of view as well as so it does not mess with the 4 wheel drive system.
3 - Is there a sport exhaust switch mod? I understand that all turbos have this feature and there disabled at the switch level, not at the exhaust level. Correct me if I'm wrong.
That's it for now, or any other recommendations will be appreciated.

My Thoughts?
Great questions.
Don't have the Sport Exhaust.
Trade those 19" for 20". make the dealer work hard on this. Rims and tires are very expensive.
Ensure the 10,000 mile service is performed.
Have the dealer agree in writing to touch-up all minor paint damage (there will be many small areas) several weeks later (to give you time to locate these paint defects).
Look over the car very carefully at delivery. I found Carbon Fiber damage to the sill guards, rear drivers door armrest (small piece on the B pillar needed replacement, computer reprogramming that was required.
Free key chains and T-Shirts; Make great XMAS presents.
Good Luck, JohnnyB
Remember, once you drive it away, the freebies are over.

I think any of the std 20" rims are a key -
At 10k miles on the car you may be due for new rubber. My 4S needed new fronts at about 9500 miles so look at the rubber close on the fronts.
I agree - the air is still pretty thin for people buying 120k plus cars. Make the dealer give you as much as you can get out of them. If you play it right they will be begging you to buy the car.
