Winter Wheel options

Now that it's almost August, I'm starting to look for winter wheels (19") for the PTT. For those of you who plan on using the Panamera in winter, what wheels have you decided on using? I looked at TireRack, but there's only one set of 19"s for the Turbo on the site. What other options are out there? I had considered Porsche wheels, but I think I'd like to check out all of my options.

TIA.

I bought a set of stock 19" turbo wheels that I fitted with snows and extra sensors for a quick swap. If you have a turbo, nothing smaller than a 19" will clear the standard brakes, and I believe you need 20" to clear the Carbon ceramics if you have them (I don't so someone else may want to chime in)

I believe you are right, only 20 inch on the ptt, but I think 19 on other Panamera models.

Its good you are thinking about it now, you will have more time to review your options.

This is what I did, I decided that I wanted a dedicated winter set, Then I started looking into tirerack and othe online wheel dealers, I concluded after my research that I want to stick with Porsche OEM wheels, (if you buy a take off set there is not much difference in price and you dont compromise quality) I will have the panny for a few years, now that my 997 TT lease is also coming to an end. So, I purchased this set from a forum member

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...s-sensors.html

my car ran like a champ through the numerous snow storms in the northeast, not to mentions trips to VT etc.

I know 19" wheel set could have also been an option but I liked the 20" look....

Depending on how bad your winters are and how much you want to use the panny in the snow purchasing an OEM 19" set might be a good option as well.

I will be putting my 19" Turbo wheels with All Season Continentals on sale on the forum shortly, they were taken the day of delivery. If you are interested let me know. It comes with center caps and sensors , brand new and perfect in every way.
