Today, I took my P4S in for software updates. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this warranty service performed? From what I understood, these updates involved the transmission, CAN buss, cooling and two others that I don't recall. They have the car overnight as they claim the programming time needed is that extensive.

For the record, my car's build date was 10/9/2009.

 

If you have not had any previous updates this might be the case, as yours is an early-ish car.. I have heard that programming and updating the codes is a time consuming matter.

 

how do you know if all software updates were done? I asked the dealer to do this prior to delivering the car to me, but not sure if it's done.
