headlight control failure

I had an error messgage that says headlight control failure, dealer said it was a blown fuse, and supposedly fixed it today. This evenin the error message came on again, any idea why? Could it be something that has to do with my v1 hardwiring? I had no idea what the installer did, but he was messing with the fuse box....
Thx in advance.

I would guess its related to the V1 hardwire. My shop said they needed to wire it directly to the fuse box to avoid any error codes/problems because of the change in impedance. They also installed some in-line capacitors (available at Valentine for $50) to keep the detectors on during auto-shutoff. I'm also putting in two detectors and a laser jammer, so I need to be careful.
