I don't understand matching the M5 with this Pan. What about the 500 hp Pan? Yes, it costs more but isn't this GTS more expensive than the M5 as well?
Not sure I like this reviewer much and can't take his word completely. He's been off base on some other reviews I've seen.

I like BMW's but between these 2 I'd choose the Pan everytime. I think it looks better stock but with a set of 22's, it looks almost exotic. I also think it has a more timeless design where as the BMW changes designs so often their cars become dated fairly easily.

 

Porsche over BMW any day if you throw away the price factor. I love the new M5 over the previous, E60. For the price, M5 is a bargain against other 4doors such as AMG.

 

Big win for the GTS. Better launch, ride, sound, handling, precision, steering, and more fun to drive, all with AWD. M5 scored with a beast of an engine and lower price, and only 2WD.

That's what I figured it would be based on the reviews I've read. Like to see some head-to-head track times though.

 

Never seen anyone stopped and have a look over twice anywhere when walking past an M5.

That should be more than enough to give the trophy to the Panny.
