*sigh* I guess I should have seen it coming after Audi/VAG took over Porsche... If this is the trend of how Porsche is going, Masarati would be more my cup of tea as my next 4 doors sports sedan... I ain't spending US$230k (that's how much for my 4S in HK) for an Audi/Sirocco pretending to be Porsche

It'll be interesting to see a *new* QP, I own a 4.7 Auto, lovely car but nowhere near as dynamically good as the Panamera (I have a Turbo with PDCC). If this new model is 95% of the current Panamera (I expect it will be, if not better) then despite shared components I'd still put my money on Porsche.

I'm on board, so is my wife. She wants a new car by year end. After seeing this, she said "maybe I should hold out a bit longer". This with a diesel motor would be the perfect combo....

The "ugly duckling" is growing into a beautiful swan alright! Am I seeing wrong or doesn't it appear to be really low slung? Should make for a nice CG and great handling

In the research mngr interview he says its the Panamera platform. In the videos you can also see the boot is larger than in the Panny, but seems to be missing a cargo net option like the Panny, so when you crash or brake hard you will be hit in the head with everything that is in the back. A simple net would have allowed to pack the current car up to the window and packing space would increase dramatically.

On a sidenote, my wife asked if this is a new Volvo C30 when had left rear view pic on the screen. She is pretty good at recognizing cars after listening to me for years, so am not the only one who thinks the rear look is a little off.

I don't think a cargo net has ever been installed on a concept car. I really hope they build this thing and if they do, I'm pretty sure it'll have a cargo net option.

Well the current one hasnt, so I wouldnt bet money on it.

Its surprising no one has minded that the car has NO MIRRORS.

I hope the final product has them.

I have been surprised about how many non-car enthusiast have approached me because of this concept car and complimented its looks. So Porsche will get a lot of new customers, I think, but the image will be more of a regular luxury brand than a true sportscar manufacturer.

I am 100% those who asked me would never touch a Ferrari or Lamborghini.

It has digital camera mirrors, the cameras are mounted in the side vents.
