This may seem a weird post but i drive a Panamera turbo S and love it. I had to take it in for a minor scratch on my bumper. They gave me a base Panamera to drive and I must say I am very impressed. The base car is great in so many ways. Engine was rev happy and it was very fast I thought. Throttle response was very good. The stock Bose stereo was excellent compared to my Burmester. The base seats were very firm but comfortable. All in all, I think Porsche has done an excellent job on the base model.

The base panamera is a lot of fun to drive, because it's so light. And, as it turns out, 300hp is plenty for most situations.

I'll be interested to see what you think, though, when you get your turbo S back.

 

I would be interested as well.I test drove a gts and thought to myself this has enough power and feels similar to the turbo. Then I got my turbo back and quickly came to my senses.

 

Coming from a Turbo S owner, this should mean a lot for people who are on a borderline.
