When I put my car into reverse, I get some horizontal lines appearing on the PCM screen, they look like some type of interference, does not happen all the time, but I think it is mostly during nighttime. Anyone also has this?

 

Could it be certain kind of lights that the camera does not like? I have seen it by my house and as you move the "distortion" moves as I roll.

Is it kind of purple and non uniform?

 

It is unstable and could be on different parts of the screen, multiple lines, move as the car moves, almost like a loose wire connection, sometimes certain horizontal portions become purple also. But again, most of the time it is perfectly fine.

 

No, should take it in.

 

I took it in and they discovered a loose camera connection at the back of the PCM. Problem fixed.
