Air Filter Replacement

Has anyone tackled this maintenance on their own?

From what I understand, the front bumper needs to be removed to accomplish this. I have the v6 so I may have a bit more room for access.

I haven't done one, but I do believe the bumper has to come off, and I wouldn't recommend doing it without some professional supervision. It's easy to break things when you try to take the bumper off if you don't know where all of the screws are hidden.

According the repair manual from Porsche the front bumper cover has to be removed.
