I discovered some useful phone shortcuts, which actually are similar to many cell phones.

1. To access the redial list, don't press phone, then select previous calls, just press the answer phone button.

2. To call the last person you called, just press the answer phone button twice.

3. To call a previous person you called, spin to that call with the right dial and then press the answer phone button. That still saves the additional confirmation step which would occur if you pressed the select button instead.

And one for the map:

Any button will get past the annoying confirmation about not letting the map distract you from driving, not just selecting when on OK. So you can just press Map twice to get to the map without a confirmation stopover for example.

There is just one annoying feature in this. If you press it and you have a warning or similar on your tft other than phone view (like seatbelt), it dials without actually displaying who its dialling to.
