PCM Display Issues On 2013 Panamera
PCM Display Issues On 2013 Panamera
Just traded my 2011 Panamera for a 2013 Panamera and I cannot seem to find the fuel consumption icon and info in the PCM display, despite several attempts to reset and load my options. My Vehicle display only shows "messages" and service interval, rather than the listing of options with fuel consumption, which I had in my 2011... I have PCM Version 4.40.
I just know that I have driven several Panameras, and I have always had a selection for fuel consumption on the PCM display.. I can get this info in the trip odometer but not in the standard PCM view, as I have seen in the past.. Seems weird. Is this typical for 2013 version, or do I have a PCM programming problem?

Follow up: my dealer says that PCM no longer shows MPG or fuel consumption on 2013 Panamera and that only fuel readings are short term, through trip odometer. Seems odd to not have a fuel/mpg display or readout on any car these days...
It does show on mine. You have to set it manually in the vehicle menu.
When you press "Car" it takes you to trip odometer which shows MPG based on trip settings..right? That is not what I was referring to... My 2011 PCM had a simple mpg display under "vehicle" when you scroll through the PCM menu on the gauge cluster---that is what is missing now..and this is what dealer says was changed on today's version.

I'm annoyed at the same thing. I have a 2013 Cayenne Diesel and I can see the MPG under "vehicle". I just picked up a 2012 Panamera Hybrid and I'm not able to get this to list under that menu
