Both my wife's and my key buttons stopped working, no lock/unlock/trunk release. However all the keyless functions still work such as entering the car and starting it. This is the first issue we've had with the GTS in 9 months.

Is there something I can do to reset the keys or do I need to make a trip to the dealer? I haven't tried taking out the batteries yet.

 

I had some problems with my keys, but not as bad as yours though. Sometime the car not recognize the key, but my lock unlock,trunk buttons always worked. I would change the batteries for sure,very easy... but sounds like the issue might be on the "car side" as opposed to on the "key side". Good luck.

 

Thanks. It's hard to believe the battery would be bad since the car was only manufactured less than a year ago, but that's always a possiblity. And the door entry and ignition work fine. I can test the battery.

It does seem like something going on with the car. I can't find any settings in the car that would disable the key buttons.
