I just recently purchased a 2010 ptt w/ 13k miles . I notice in sport plus mode the shifting is very harsh from 2nd to 3rd gear . Is this normal?

 

Mine is hard, but I wouldn't describe it harsh. Harsh was the SMG in the BMW, that I could've told you it's normal, the PDK is very tame compared to the SMG.

I've always like the SMG more, just for the "harshness", compared to the smoothness of the PDK.

Yes I just traded in my bmw m6 smg for the pana .

The Smg is violent ! The shift in sport plus is similar only from 2-3rd . Its my first day with the car so maybe I need to spend some qt with it.
