'14 Panamera Turbo in the garage tonight
Functionally it seems fine but if I drove it in the winter with ice and snow it seems like it would be obscured by the elements and the key fob would be the only way to open the trunk. Probably not the best solution.
Awesome car. I saw the Executive model at a Panamera launch yesterday. It has a six inch longer wheel base than the other models and was spectacular. My drool was all over the floor next to this amazing looking car. It was a black on black Turbo S. All it need was a beautiful blonde chauffeur to drive the new owner around. One can dream, can't he.
Also, FYI, if you look at the configurator, there are two new wheels available for the Panameras (in GT Silver and black, painted - see photos attached). Looks great, and are nice and wide! I saw a Panamera Turbo yesterday (black/black) and switched my order of my GTS to black with the black/red interior. Exciting....
Yes - they moved that switch to where the door lock button used to be and put the door locks on the door where they should have been.
Also - a weird choice a got was the all season tires - not because I drive it in the winter but to see if they last longer. I drove it today about 200 miles on the expressway and there was markedly less tire noise than my prior cars with the "summer" tires. I don't go to tracks or anything so I think it was a good choice.
The adaptive cruise is useful - have that on my R63
The Burmester is significantly noticeable compared to my old bose system.
The blind spot warning lights are actually very useful
The car seems quicker, a bit quieter and a bit smoother than my 2011 PTT but essentially they are the same in the performance category.
But the LED lights look damn cool - I have not driven in the dark yet. The halo for the DRL's is really cool. Like damn cool
Another great improvement over my 2011 is the car indicator on the nav screen now uses the tip of the triangle rather than the middle of the triangle to denote the car position - now you never miss turns when looking at the map as you had to wait for the tip to go past the street - I sent that idea to Porsche years ago.
A nice evolution of a great car.

-Does it make the whistle?
-Do you notice any performance (lag etc) difference? According to your comments above seems to be that there is no real difference..
-Dont ou miss the cloverleaf led lights, one reason why I couldnt make the swap

BTW have been wrestling about what to buy next myself. Test drove the E 63 AMG S with 585 hp. It was impressive in speed, equal to the powerkit. But it feels like a regular sedan, driving the Panny feels like a sportscar. The good thing however is it is so unnoticable, I sort of missed the stealth feeling. A CLS would look nicer, but has only 4 seats. So am driving the RS6/RS7 next. Somehow I fell I will stay with my car after all the search.

Congrats! Hope its as bullitproof as your 2nd Panny. 3 questions:
-Does it make the whistle? No
-Do you notice any performance (lag etc) difference? According to your comments above seems to be that there is no real difference.. No real diff
-Dont ou miss the cloverleaf led lights, one reason why I couldnt make the swap No clue what those are
