Did Porsche Ruin the Panamera 4S with a V6?
After reading the title above, you may think to yourself, “No, they ruined it by designing it to be hideous.” Yes, the Panamera (if I may use an old Clarkson reference) looks like a Chihuahua taking a crap. For crying out loud, a Porsche 911 crossbred with a Citroën DS looks better than the Panamera. [...]

I actually heard that with the V6 that there is noticably less weight over the front wheels and it handles lighter, even better than it did before.
I will need to test drive one, bu until my mind is changed, I'm still leaning toward a PDCC GTS. Not sure about the color but thanks for asking...

The new Turbo V6 makes more power and torque than the V8, but you loose some of the direct connection feel to the car you had with V8 motor. There is a bit of turbo lag, so in some situations you will have a slight hesitation before you go.
So it is faster than the oldl 4S (and the GTS in a straight line), but it may not be as satisfying to drive. Great combo if you want more luxury and less sport, better power and better mileage, no downside in a 4S, except it will cost as much as a GTS. When you go to sell, a GTS might be the best Panamera to own with the lowest depreciation curve. If you buy a new Panamera you will suffer big depreciation in the first 2-3 years.
Good luck with your decision.

I have long noticed that the inevitably heavy weight over the front wheels with my 2010 V8 4S is causing extreme stress on the front brake pads and discs, which, in turn, largely shortening their life spans, if not yet burnt the discs like I did once after some heavy driving and braking over a long period of time.
In order to counter act the effect, I had worked out with a local brake system expert to tailor-made some rings and bolts to extend the arms of the rear calipers along with tailor-made larger rear brake discs (360 mm, yes, slightly bigger than the front discs), and strengthening them by replacing the oem standard calipers with the red turbo ones at the same time. And the result is evident, and the stress from the braking is now balanced, front and rear, and the braking had become notably more responsive. So should you notice the same problem, I would highly recommend it.

And just to go along with the subject... I don't like the V6, so I'd say, yes the new 4S is ruin using a V6 engine with Turbo.
