It is probably the best to get it here in DC/Baltimore too but for how little I am going to drive it I just decided I would take my chance. I drove my M3 everyday for 4 years and other then the windshield was suprisingly lucky (knock on wood).

I read a lot of good reviews of the differebt products for the clear bra on here. I may decide in a month to go get it done.

I didn't get the maintenance package because although it will save you some money in the end its not enough to put that much up front. If it was an equivalent package to BMW's maintenance plan I would have purchased it. But in the first two years you won't spend even a 1/3 what the plan cost. The manager at the dealership even said its not worth purchasing. You do save money in the long run.

I did get the Tire and Wheel Package this to me was more important than the clear bra.

Thanks will post pics when mine arrives. Silver is tough to draw any conclusions on from pics but I am hoping you are right.

My PGTS is going to be a DD and I'll be putting some miles on it. I'm hoping I can hold onto this car until they completely redesign it in 2019 which is why I am planning on getting the maintenance package.

So Lexus gave my wife a key chain and travel mug when I got her a 2014 GX. Did you get anything good? Or just a handshake and please pay the shop for your $65 travel mug?

I received a $50 keychain for free of course. Yeah I'm hoping to keep on this one for a long time. I do want a 991 GT3 but that's some years away. I didn't think about a travel mug guess bc I don't drink coffee.

Times have changed because I got a mug, keychain, umbrella and hat with my E90 M3. My B5 S4 I got concert tickets and the above as well!

A 991 GT3 would be a nice "toy" car. I miss my 997 GT3 but i'll see one again once our kids pass 18.

Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus N-Spec. Went with the All-Season tires just in case I actually go out in the snow or caught out in some snow and need to get home. This is one of the main reasons I sold my M3 and didn't get the M5 or M6 GC.

I was never asked which tire I wanted. Did you specify that when you ordered it?

The tire depends on your build selection of wheels and whether you build the car with all-season tires.

You don't actually specify the brand or the tire itself. I just know that is the tire that comes with the 20" Turbo II Wheels and All-Season tires. They are amazing tires; however, not super sticky compared to the Michelin PS2 but sticky enough and gives a smooth ride.

Yeah the dealer told me that since I didn't pick all-season that it would most likely either be the Conti Sport Contacts, Pirelli Pzero, or Michelin PSSs.

Let's hope it's the PSSs and not the Pzero. I hear many owners don't like those.

I believed reading somewhere that the refreshed Panameras do come with Michelin now instead of Pirelli.
