while car is in reverse, mirror tilts down. If the angle is not correct you can change the mirror angle while in reverse and it remembers this setting.

That means your dealership changed it so that it remembers the last setting. Otherwise by default its set to always be off on the 2010. I'm like 90% sure of this....
