I'm debating right now between the Audi RS7 and the Panamera Turbo. I'm going to need the back seat for my friends so the CLS is not one of my options. The Panamera Turbo looks is what doesn't do it for me, it looks better in person but I just still don't know. The RS7 to me looks excellent. So I'm still debating.

The M5 used to be the scalpel compared to the muscle car mentality of the E63 but dare I say that I feel the new AMG E63 feels more athletic? The new M5 feels like a porky pig with no road feel at all. Too electronic for my tastes now.

Am in the minority here?
No the M5 is pretty crappy. Way too much weight. CLS and E63 are better buys. Even s7.

Mostly everything from BMW for performance is crappy except the m6. But even then the m6 has no thrill factor to it. Feels numb.

Interesting to read the article - saw the video a few weeks back. We paid a premium for our Panny's but we got the total package! I would buy my car again and pay the premium over the others, no questions asked!

Buy a slightly used PGTS or PTT and you save big and are in for similar price to the others and get a better car! But you get what you pay for and that has value, if you can write the check.

have you ever seen a PTT done up? looks way more impressive than rs7 and with much more road presence IMO

Indeed...as an owner, I imagine I have some degree of bias (), but as an "educated consumer," and the proud owner of a Panny GTS, I simply say, Lord, for the money, this is one helluva machine. Slow and elegant around town, or wide open in sports+ getting on the turnpike on ramp...this car really just does it all. Just love it. I hope they make the next one even better, so when this lease is up, I can "re-up" and just get same car, different color or something.

Speaking of....have any GTS owners one up to the Turbo? or, have any Turbo owners switch to GTS? Would be very curious as to real owner feedback.

Thanks gents

I just drove a new M6 and wasn't impressed either.
